The complete library of SITE MACHINES AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINES
is now available on DVD-Rom format; the 8 DVDs are updated monthly
You can take out an annual subscription for the service when you wish. Just contact us.
Customers who wish to convert their SIS CD-Rom subscription to SIS DVD-Rom format must contact us rapidly.
You will be supplied S.I.S subject to your signing a CATERPILLAR letter of agreement. This is a moral agreement between CATERPILLAR and the CUSTOMER.
The agreement states that only when the customer has taken out a subscription and signed it will they have the right to use SIS and only for the company and in the country where they operate. An agreement delivery takes about ONE MONTH; the authorization is drawn up by CATERPILLAR’s legal department in the US.
S.I.S offers you documentation search advantages Most documents for a single series of machines of industrial engines are available on the same disc. Lost printed documents and laborious filing a thing of the past.
But you can always print out documents if required. Any document can be extracted by means of various search modes offered on the main S.I.S menu. They are easy to use.
The S.I.S environment can be displayed in several languages. All technical documents are in English.

- shop manuals,
- technician booklets,
- specialist tools and shop equipment (tool guide),
- N.P.R replacement parts,
- hydraulic and electrical diagrams, etc
N.B.: The S.I.S subscription is henceforth invoiced on a pro rata temporis basis from the signature of the agreement whatever the date – the following year subscription will be on an annual basis.
Training in S.I.S installation and operations procedures is indispenable. That could be put in place by the coordinator of J.A. Delmas or by the locally-based coordinator.
The main purpose of training is to offer coordination training in monthly library updating procedures so that trainees can become the S.I.S contact with our local agent’s coordinator. Training rates will be proposed by the latter so that they can procure S.I.S. for you.
