- Reading CAT electrical wiring diagrams
- Identification of components on machines
- Machine supervision:
- E.M.S. control panel
- CMS control panel (VFD)
- CMS2 control panel (pointers)
Targets
After this course the trainee should be able to:
- Use a miltimeter
- Reading and using a wiring diagram
- Be familiar with the basic principle of operation of an ECM module
- Identifying and testing electrical signals
- Implement diagnostic procedures to comply with "fault” codes
- Perform day-to-day diagnostic operations
This course will enable trainees to attend specific training modules
involving on-board electronics:
- Electronic management engine
- Electronic powertrain management system
- All applications managed by an E.C.M. module.
